Still the Encourager

People come to bring comfort and words of encouragement.  He receives their encouragement, then, invariably, he begins ministering to them.  Every. Single. Time.  The recently bereaved home-health nurse.  The dear fellow sojourner.   The sweet young couple.  The head pastor of a mega church.  The successful business man.  The lay-minister. The next door neighbors.  The daughters and sons-in-law.  The grandkids.  Each seek to bring comfort to Dad and each leave blessed for having spent time with this kind, strong, intelligent, grace-filled man.

And King Solomon’s words ring true:

The words of the godly encourage many
